Mario Botta designed the Shogun lamp while drawing inspiration from the Shogun Warriors. Each lamp is made from cast iron and steel featuring two feet, a body with a navel and a head. The head or helmet is made from painted perforated plate steel which creates a beautifully diffused light and is adjustable.

Mario Botta is a Swiss architect and noted for his geometric shapes and bicolored design.

These two lamps were acquired by KaDeWe Berlin in the 1980s and are in a good vintage condition with minor signs of age and some smaller scratches.
